U.N. ONCE AGAIN TRYING TO USURP
OUR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS--
WILL CONVENE CONFERENCE ON "SMALL ARMS" THIS MONTH
With an absurdly lengthy title that tells you all you need
to know, the "U.N. Conference to Review Progress Made
in the Implementation of the Programme of Action to Prevent
and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons
in All Its Aspects," will begin Monday, June 26. This
meeting is a follow up to the "U.N. Conference on the
Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons" meeting
that we reported on in the summer of 2001. At that time, we
told you that the Bush Administration made it perfectly clear
that the United States would not support any proposal that
threatened our Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
But the U.N., fueled and financed by the likes of Rebecca
Peters and George Soros, is at it again--and with a vengeance.
NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre has aptly noted
that the Right to Keep and Bear Arms in defense of self, family,
and country is self-evident. In essence, our Second Amendment
shows profound respect for human freedom, worth, and self-destiny.
But two centuries after it was codified into our Bill of Rights,
the U.N. is trying to declare that this civil liberty is a
cause of the world's violence. It is trying to claim jurisdiction
over sovereign American citizens by crafting a global treaty
that calls on us to surrender our firearm freedom and accept
whatever lesser standard of freedom--if any--the U.N. deems
appropriate.
The United States is the last truly free nation standing,
offering every law-abiding human the greatest measure of freedom
mankind has ever experienced, and neither the United Nations
nor any other foreign influence may claim jurisdiction to meddle
with the freedoms guaranteed by our Bill of Rights.

Gun owners and NRA members have won huge, victories this past
year. But storm clouds are rolling in. The enemies of libery
and freedom have had some losses but be warned they are preparing
with new names, new money and worldwide momentum. Handgun Control,
Incorporated is changing its name in an attempt to obscure
its true goal.
Andrew McKelvey, a former board member of Handgun Control, Inc., and
now a dot-com billionaire, has launched
what may be the wealthiest anti-gun lobbying group in the world, packaged
under the ambiguous title of "Americans
for Gun Safety."
McKinley has reportedly put more than $12 million toward the anti-gun
rights effort and hired top Clinton ex-officials to run it.
With our justice Department headed by a pro-Second Amendment Attorney
General committed to preserving
freedom-we have help.
But what if his department remains staffed by Clinton-Gore holdovers?

We must change the makeup of the Senate and we must organize as never
before at the state political level.
Remember, one third of the Senate is up for election in 2002. More than
four million strong, we the NRA helped win the last presidential election,
and we can determine the face of the Senate in 2002. Without total commitment,
the future of a pro firearms-rights Presidency will be crippled. In 2004,
we could see the same anti-gun radicals in the
Senate taking control of the White House.
In politics and in the legislative process there is one thing that really
matters-those with the bigger numbers win.
We must be strong, united, active and always vigilant
in the turbulent times ahead.

Just as a handful of patriots fired the "shot heard
'round the world" at Concord Bridge, it's up to you and
me and every patriot who cherishes our Bill of Rights to tell

I have been a believer in every law abiding American
citizen's constitutional right to keep and bear arms
since I was a young boy. I am also a firm believer in
the grave responsibility to behave safely and prudently
that accompanies the right to posses and carry a firearm.
For these and many other reasons I am a proud Endowment
member of the National Rifle Association, the organization
that is both dedicated to, and largely responsible
for, all of the much needed firearms training of both
civilians and law enforcement personnel throughout
this great nation of ours.
I do not, share the apparent conviction of some people
out there who seem to believe that your average US
citizen is incapable of being either responsible enough
or intelligent enough to own a firearm and handle it
properly. BE WARNED! If you love and value your country
and your freedoms, be prepared to stand up and protect
those rights or loose them.
We face multiple threats and we must be prepared,if
you value your rights under the 2nd amendment you must
come forward and help protect those rights. These rights
are attacked in secret and under the disguise of something
else.
We have people in this country that want a global
gun ban and will do anything to achieve this. These
people are behind some democratic canidates.
you cannot allow any person to be elected that would
take your 2nd amendment rights away or try to change
the constitution,the way it is written is what makes
us free .
They also want to tax all ammunition
and tax guns.
They want shotguns,etc to be included with fallout
rifle bans, what's next a ban on baseball bats.
IF the wrong people get elected to the Supreme Court
we can loose our rights. The current Democratic candidates
are the most Anti-Gun candidates in history. they are
no friend to gun owners or hunters or , I hate to
say our freedom as it now stands. Look close and you
will
see there support comes from all the people who want
to see you loose your rights.
IN your duties you must also elect a 2nd amendment
safe senate. Yo can expect the United Nations to take
over American gun rights, don`t kid you self this
can happen. If the unagenda is ratified by the us then
they effectly control us
